 Post subject: Stock Ring Gear

Does anyone know the stock ring gear measurement off the top of their head so I don't have to take mine apart to measure it? Thanks in advance for the info.

do you want to know what size the gear is or what the ratio is?

if you are trying to find different gears for the stock rear end, you might as well take them out. because the dropout has to come out to replace the gears anyways.

if you are replacing the rearend then i would suggest getting into a ford 8inch, 8.8inch out of newer stuff, or a 9 inch.

nobody makes replacement gears for the stock rearend and they are all piles of sh*t.
