Before i finally buy a weber, I have made a last ditch effort to save money.

I have a 2bbl holley carb that came off my 3.8 buick at home. I purchased an adapter to make it fit on my stock 1.8 4x4.

We'll see if it works. But for $12, it might be worth it.

Drummer, I thought you and a friend of yours were combining parts to get the luv running. Hows that going? I was surprised to see your post on carbs. Maybe I misunderstood. He supplied the V8 motor, you the truck, is what I remember. But heck my memory is so short anymore it's sad. :?

I actually have two luvs, one 80 4x4 and a 78 2wd that used to have a 3.8 in it, but now has nothing.

I decided to go against working with the neighbor. It would suck to move and have a fight over who gets what out of the truck.
