I wondered - does anyone know if you need to make any "body" modifications like around the bell-housing to put a 350 turbo tranny up to a 4.1 in a 1980 Chevy Luv???

no you don't have to do any body modifications. just beat the tranny tunnel lip with a hammer. (you have to do that with anything you put in it)
I had a 350 turbo behind my 3.8 buick for a while before I replaced it with the 5 speed.
