So for the Weber 32/36 DGEV, is that a direct bolt on to the intake? This is my first carbed vehicle. I bought it with carb issues so instead of dealing with it, I’ll just make the swap. Also does the stock carb already have eletric choke or am I going to have to wire it to something new? Thanks in advance
Get the kit, it will be cheaper than buying all the needed individual parts separately. You may have to modify the throttle cable to carb linkage, sometimes using the stock carb bellcrank instead of the Weber is the best route.
Your truck has an electric choke, just plug the wire into the Weber. Your truck also has an electronic fuel pump that puts out 4-7psi, Webers can flood at that pressure & like 2-3psi better, so you may also need a fuel pressure regulator. The Holley #12-804 is a good choice.
BTW when you're asking about a vehicle you need to identify the vehicle, I had to go back to a previous post to see you are in the process of acquiring a '79 4x4 LUV.
