I was wondering if any body knows if the slave cylinder off of a 75 will work on a 79 i am putting a 75 body on a 79 frame and the 79 has a cable clutch not hydraulic any feed back would be great..

If you plan to keep the 79 drivetrain, I don't believe there is a place to mount the hydraulic slave cylinder on the transmission. You might look into just adapting the cable to fit the 75 cab. Just my thought!!!

Yeah, go cable on that puppy. The slave cylinder and fork sit on the right side of the trans and the cable setup has the fork on the left. You'd have all sorts of problems getting things lined up and working. The cable swap should be pretty simple, especially if you have the 79 body to work with for parts or at least to look at. You might have to fab up a plate and a chunk of pipe to fill the gap left where the master cylinder is on the 75 cab.
