Ok, need educated. What is the difference and which should I use to set the cam up? 65 283 40 over.


.050 timing........................................ sae timing
btc 10 abc 42 bbc 46 atc 6......................btc 34 abc 74 bbc 70 atc 30
.050 du.............................................. sae dur.
int 232 exh 232....................................... int 288 exh 288
lash hot lobe centers................................ valve lift cam lift

Any input greatly appreciated. did a search nothing on this subject that I could find on sae .050 timing.

Due to todays oils please use zddp cam lube. What I posted is what was on the box my first Chevy Build that is, Dad was not liking one in his driveway. I opened his eyes a bit when my full interior olds riped a 7.69 out the box 1/8 on a olds 350 9" slicks. I always like the lines of this truck I know the CI is small, with me in it, a full tank of todays gas 2560#, I just want some fun!! :ebiggrin

The cam card should tell you where to set up the cam static timing, if not call them.

Whats so funny? You asked what to set it up to, I replied to set it up to what the cam card said. What am I missing?
