I am looking at the "Hooker Headers 12630HKR - Hooker Super Competition Engine Swap Mount Kits" and the instructions say these only fit luvs to 1974 only? has anyone used these on later trucks? why do they only list the early trucks? the engine mounts say the same thing on summit and ebay? THANKS

I used the hooker mounts on my 76 everything fit fine

I've used these on engine swaps in 1980's so they work on any earlier LUV, will not work on 81-82!! These later LUVs use the same kit as the S 10s, but it is easier to make your own on these trucks, very simple too.
