Well first of all Can it be done? I wanta make it bigger, I know you can tighten up the torshon bar's and you can put a body lift on it, but i really want it bigger than that, id like to put a 6v or 8v in it but i cant with it being the way it is right now? theres nothing you can do with that front in, and I want it to stay 4x4, and i really want to stay away from the toyota stuff, i dont care for them. So i want to keep it chevy or jeep or somthing along that lines. I know the frams are to long for the 1/2 chevy but the dam jeep is about right on, i just wanta know if anyone's done it? and wat works and wat wont work. thanks Brian

are you just wanting the luv body on a bigger frame? not entirely sure what you are trying to do here.

i know very little about jeeps .. but arent their frames quite a bit shorter than the average mini truck anyway?

I just want it bigger and more tougher, If i could of got a jeep to put it on i would of. Frames where she same width and yes they where shorter but im just gona just put a flat bed on it. but I found a ranger insted. I live Up here in north Idaho, luv parts are a hard to find and wat is able to be found is crap. so i thot to swap it onto somthing that if it breaks i can find the parts to fix it. there are no troopers here, there all hard to find, and i Wanted to fit 33" tires on it, with choping the fenders i mite be able to do it, but that little 4, wont cut it. So i desided to put it on a 1986 ranger frame, the Wiring is like 3 times wat the luv is, but all i gota do is build the new cab mounts and getting everything to sit right. I did this in 4 days, it was hard! an i got alot more to do! Its Gona be one OF A kind thats forsure!
