Picking up my parts car this weekend so I'm gathering a couple of items from the store. I was able to pick up a front/rear yoke from a 2.3 5-speed to go on my driveshaft to mate everything up, but I'm curious if I will even need to change the rear yoke out?

The 3.42s I have now are from an '84 and the driveshaft mounted up without modification, will it mount up to the 3.90 from the Impulse the same way or will I need to swap the rear yoke for it?

And if I DO need to swap the rear yoke, do I use the rear u-joint for the '76 or one from the '87? The '76 only has one part number for front/rear u-joints on advanceauto.com (1-0300) but the '87 has a separate number for the rear (2-0383).
