My 79 LUV has a lot of rust in the frame and a very worn out steering box which I can't find a replacement for.A friend of mine has a complete S-10 4x4 frame with all the driveline I can get for $100. Anybody ever tried this?

actually, it will fit, without a torch. a guy in my town put a s-10 bed on his luv and it fit fine. the only difference in the frame is its a c frame and a luv frame is solid.

You will have to cut and move some of the mounts for the cab and radiator supports, they are to wide to match up. Plus you will have to make a adapter to hook up steering linkage to steering wheel. :)

That doesn't sound too bad if that's the worst problem I run into.
