Can i take a transfer case off of a diesel 4 speed trans out of an 82 luv and neatly install it on a diesel 5 speed 2wd trans by removing the tail cone and just slapping it onto the trans and only worry about any changes in drive line lengths or is there a difference in the trans that makes this prospect less than ideal.
