the engine in my luv has taken a turn for the worst. a week or so ago i was off roading and the luv died on me, after no luck trying to figure a trail fix, i was sadly pulled home. upon disassembly of the head, it was fine so we pulled the pistons out. this is where the problem is. somehow i broke 3 top piston rings. so now we are gunna rebuild the whole thing. so my question is are there any companies that make oversived pisons for my 80 1.8L? there are some scratches in the cylinder walls so i am prob gunna bore it out .030" thanks for the help

i haven't heard of any companies but you should really get it bored over

go for pistons out of a isuzu 2.0 its the same engine as the 1.8 only larger bore

The last time I checked Napa sold oversize pistons for the luv.
