yes the 12 bolt is very strong, "but" only made with (4.11 4.55 in 88/95 2.6L trucks) (4.30 in late 90s troopers) (the most commen is 4.55)
and a rare few with 4.77s gears in troopers that where sold with 31/10.50/15 tires in 1989
as well as some I-4 powerd amegos had 4.77s
to get gears in the 3.73 3.42 area, the 10 bolt 1981/1987 in LUV/pups is your only choce with isuzu spec parts.
