i have a question about what transmissions will bolt up to buick engine , was wondering if there was an adapter you can buy or maybe swap the bell housing , anyway looking for a way to keep my stock tranny i have a 1979 4x4 any help would be great :D

If it is a 231 (3.8L) then any tranny that bolts up to a chevy smallblock V8 should work. If anyone makes an adapter, it would be Advanced Adapters. I think their website is www. advancedadapters.com

AA sells adaptors for a toyota t-case, i'm running a samuri divorced case with mine though.
