Not a direct bolt in but would be an easy conversion to do and you can put a T-5 in it later for the overdrive.

Oh and there is allot of speed goodies for the 2.5/3.0

This is a very strong engine, been around a long time, in Jeeps, and GMs
There is lots of information on the web about it. This is basically the same engine used in the Buick Grand National cars, although it was beefed up for the turbos.
I personally ran one for several years, added a Edelbrock intake, a 390 cfm Holley 4 bbl, HEI ignition, dual exhaust and it ran very well as well as reliably. These engines do suffer from an inferior oiling system and do not like sustained high rpms, but there are relatively simple fixes for this problem, again lots of information on the net.
Just for informaiton if it is a 65 GM engine, it is a 253 cubic inch also known as the 3800CC used in later GM cars
Good luck

LOL... im with ya on that one..... never.

But anyways, the 2.5 is a great motor for a luv I would think,

has a SBC bell housing, and the exhaust matches the side. they can make alot of power and alot interchanges with v8s if you know what your doing.

there weak link is the crankshaft.
