 Post subject: rear ends and raditors

ok im puting a sbc in my luv and every one talks about the motors and not the raditors and the rear ends which rear end should just bolt up if any is alvalabe to get a junk yard and which radiotors u guys run with ur v8s

Use a 22" wide x 19" tall 2x1" row aluminum with Chevy inlet / outlet oriantation.
There are some S10 rear ends that might work. One thing about leaf springs is that you can carefully trim off the stock spring perches and weld them onto a different housing.
We used to make rear ends, where we would put the LUV axle ends onto the 10 and 12 bolt Chevy housing. With axles made from a Chevy 6 lug truck axle core. Use roller bearings with a spacer to make it all fit with stock LUV brakes. Kept the balance in the braking system.

The stock rear ends hold up surprisingly well. Just DO NOT hammer the throttle with big tires while turning.
