Hello,

1979 LUV 4x4 W/ Weber DGV carby

Fixed gas tank fuel leak, and tightened fuel filter on weber carb (Two gas leaks). Tightened 2 very loose nuts on weber adapter unit.

29.13 MPG, and would be a lot better but I got in a hurry and ate up some gas. That is mixed city/highway/dirt road.

Not bad, eh?

No, it does not have a 5 speed. I only drive 55 MPH, that has a lot to do with it. Also, the carb is detuned for fuel mileage, however the truck still has more power this way than with the Hitachi carb.

My next MPG calculation will be way off due to the fact that I ruptured a fuel return line and I have no idea how long it has been that way, I probably leaked out more than a gallon.
