I have looked at this swap more than once and it is not a bad swap as the LUV is alot lighter then a S-10. If you are doing the swap in a 4X4 then you have to get a transfer case off a earlyer truck to get the drive shaft to work . And don,t let peaple fool you into thinking they are no good as there are still alot of them running around and yes there are better setups but start pricing them and the little 2.8 looks good but it is NOT a hotrod motor in stock form.
