Anyone have experience with or own an LL8? Vortec 4.2 / 4200 GM straight six?
How big is this engine, in dimension, I mean? I'm a die hard inliner, and this engine is fairly inexpensive and abundant. After seeing pj get his put together (viewtopic.php?f=6&t=15791) I'm already thinking of the next project. The tunability available in the FI Vortec seems like it's a real plus for a Luv application, sound like lspower has the hookup (viewtopic.php?f=6&t=16671). I like the L52 5 cylinder too, anyone have a new Colorado? Seems like the block would be a bit shorter than the 4.2.

Feedback?

I might have a core in the back of the shop to take measurments of off, or at least my girl's trailblazer. I get back to ya on that. I think off the top of my head it might be too long to fit. might think about a 2.8 inline 4 from a colorado..
