I just got an 81 and was told that an isuzu pup 2.0 wil bolt up to the 1.8 intake and exhaust. True or false? Also, I was told that an isuzu pup automatic tranny will bolt right in if I want to convert my truck from a 4spd stick to an auto. True or false? Eventually the truck's gonna be a platform for an in-line Quad4 2.3, w/a turbo 350 with turbo 400 guts and a shift kit, and a Monza rear-end. But for now, I just want to get it on the road so I can use it for a shop truck. MY engine is sporting a fist-sized hole in the block thanks to the previous owner.
