OK now then i hope the dist. comes with the motor.

That is a good motor now all you will need is a flywheel, clutch assy., and a bellhousing,as well as a trans and your in business. All of these should be fairly easy to come by as there was a pretty fair amount of the manual trans V-6 cars out there.Just be sure the flywheel is for your year as they changed through the years.

With a T-5 this would be a fun little truck to drive and economical to.

Oh and there is a bellhousing on E-Bay under Buick 455 parts and that one is specific to Buick the next problem will be your clutch linkage cable or hyd.

There is another way if you have a cable system by using an adapter and use a chevy Monza bell like i used on my trk. when i had the 283 and it work better that the factory setup. Also if you can't find one i have one that i will sell for 50 buck but i can't find the cable.

it didn't look like the clutch cable would work right... i was thing going hydraulic but i guess it would mater to what trans goes in it...i was thinking i would like to build another truck and the 76 here has hydraulic clutch, build a them truck sprit of 76 red whit and blue, i already have the sprit of 76 emblems from a chevy 76 full size truck... but to do this i would have to sell mine to get the money to build another, so we will see. it may pop up on ebay

A spirit of 76 theme would be an ultra cool truck to build and even better to drive and show.

As for the hyd. clutch you have two or maybe three options for clutch actuation so you will have it fairly easy. And depending on when you should start i will keep you in mind when i swith my truck over to a auto trans to race as i have a wilwood pull hyd.setup on mine.then there is the hyd. through out bearing setup as well as the old push setup .

Keep us posted if you start this project as i know everybody will want to know the progress. The only problem i see is you selling your current ride to fund this one
