ok for all you guys out ther that like the fact that the LUV is a imported truck and like the idea of keeping it imported with the G200 head and tranny swaps and the few people that i give KUDOS to for a 12A rotary swap i came on to a swap idea that is farly unique well lets see after my half sober attempt to rebuld my luvs stock G180 had faled tearribly and i couldent get the motor to run agane i tarped the truck put it in the back of the gradge and bought a 1997 mits eclipse well with the help of my lil bro and the fast and furous movies i have became quite found of the import world after ruffly $8000 later my and tim (lil bro) had bult a pretty sweet little rice-box well worst went to worst and a insident with a water puddle and a intake that set just over 3in off the ground led to that cars death but in the in i knew i still had a truck that i LUVED more than aneything so after B-S-ing with a few guys talking about a new car a heard of a 1993 nissan 240sx with a k24a DOHC 4banger under the hood for sale for $400 down side was NO TITLE so i bought it and that same day we yanked the motor and tranny and droped it in my 1978 longbed LUV now im not fully finished with my swap but the fact that it set on the stock motor mounts was very nice ans the shifter sets about 12in back from stock placement so that gives that ol truck i nice sporty feel and not to mention the back seat out of the 240 sets nice in the LUV with is little butt cuping action and the 240s door pannels ar looking sharp avter i hacked about i foot off of them to hook up in the LUVS (micro-doors) doors well thats the news as of now

NOUTHING AGENST THE TYPICAL 350 SWAP BUT IM JUST NOT TYPICAL
ill update fauthr down the line aney comments qustions or statements let me know
hell just talk to me i like you even if you hate my ideas

NiKK

Is that a rear wheel drive car or FWD?
I think most any RWD drive is a a swap that can be done with some fab work... And electronics too if needed for EFI and such stuff.

you can make some awesome power with those KA24 engines.
i have one sitting in the garage on a stand that i bought for parts for my Nissan Hardbody but it wouldn't work because i had the z24 engine. so now i have a $150 paperweight taking up room

i think its a cool project and is something different would definitely call it luvsan
