Whats the go with this S-10 thing???

Is it like an US Chevy made version of the pup or something??
Not a full size pickup/SUV but a little version of like a C-10

I think a small block in body dropped trucks such as LUV's causes a need to cut and add to the top of the hood. I hate the look of a hood that has been built up. Just my .02 cents. Hell I even struggled to keep a scoop or cowl injection of off my LUV with a small block. Again each to their own.

I just googled it up.

I found on i could buy for $699 cash at some car yard.

I rekon it looks pretty big, heaps wider than a Luv.

Ive got the Isuzu book here for a 79-80 model. Unfortunately it doesnt have the frame dimensions.
The books ive got for the 81~ Trooper and pup show the same cab mounting dimensions all the way thru till the mid 90s.

Is the S-10 frame boxed like the LUV frame? Just curious due to strength issues with BIG engines.

From my limited knowlege I know that the LUV is a fully boxed and laddered frame, that can withstand a lot of punishment. Saying that, I would be interested to see if a S-10 frame could be mated with a LUV body for the simple reason of suspension work.

I mean, suspension work for LUV's can be a bit rigorous at some times and time consuming so if a S10 frame could be mounted on a LUV frame I would be more than interested in checking into it, but the only problem is in California is SMOG laws and such that goes along with it. But please post your findings and let us know !
