Ok so I've got an 80' 4x4 that needs a pan gasket. There isn't much room under there. Will that pan come off with the engine where it sits? If not will it drop down enough to get the gasket on it?

Sorry to tell you that everyone I talked to with a 4X4 had to pull the motor.

you could take of the motor moun bolt, and put a jack under the bell housing and jack the motor up a good few inches, thats what i did, i think you need to move your clutch cable too.
