My 80 4x4 has a "funny" little clicking or poping sound coming from the front calipers. It makes the sound when you have to hit the brake rather quickly and hard, but when you slowly apply pressure to the pedal, it doesnt make the sound. I was thinking that maybe the pads have come loose in there respected place in the calipers. The sound comes from both sides.
I havent taken them apart yet, but I do have some new pads coming tomarrow and some new rotors. Do they still have "small parts kits" for these trucks?? Or am I forced to go to the wrecking yard and salvage what I can? I think that we would all like to have N.O.S. stuff but I think that we all know where that will lead...Either a dead end or just nowhere!
