I have two questions. What is the stock tire size for a 79 Luv? And, what are the widest and tallest tires I can use at stock height? I have some 245/60's on the back now but I think they are too wide to work on the front. Thanks!

to get the 245's to fit up front you may have to play around with the back spacing a bit to get them to work right. I'm assuming that your 79 is 2wd, so that would make lifting up the front pretty much out of the question. some of the 2wd guys should chime in here pretty soon about what all fits and hits.

Yeah it is 2wd. I forgot to mention that above. The 245s would be sweet up front but I don't want to mess with back spacing or anything, just want the tallest/widest size that I can get all around the truck. Thanks rezkid.

hey ride i have my truck lowered 3" all around and im running 15x8 rims and 225/50s for tires and with it being lowered its about as big as i can go on the front without it rubbing. hope this helps.
