i need a weber for my stock 80 4x4. does anyone know where i can find one? these are so hard to find!

well i heard from a reputable import shop (VW bug hop up place) that Weber production was shut down during a recent strike they had in Italy. The plant was shut down and only recently started back up becouse of this and thus theres NO suply of Webers right now its all warehoused stock on the market.

i looked at the prices and they are around 300 or 400$. thats way too much for me to spend.i need a used one, thats in good condition. thanks for all the reply's.

They show up on ebay fairly often, or you can look for them in the junkyards. I believe Datsuns used the same adapter plate so look under those hoods as well.
