Hey guys! I'm about ready to get my pup road worthy but I ran into a small quirk last night. Let me just get you guys updated on whats going on. I got the pup a couple months ago and it ran decent. Needed a little TLC and some vaccum hoses needed repair so once I repaired the hoses it ran better but soon afterward I noticed fuel was getting into the oil. After I checked the plugs, wires and cap/rotor and was amazed by the about of soot I saw. How did this truck even run?!? I rebuilt the carb and found one of the butterflies was seized up so fuel was one coming thru one outlet. I've rebuilt the carb and I've done a full tune up. Now I have everything in but I couldn't get the specs as to where the points in the distributor should be set at. If anyone has this info please chime in. I need to get the truck emissioned and current tags because we just had a city inspector come by and noticed my truck didn't have current tags so they gave us a warning to have the truck streetable or they will impound it. If not done in the next 15 days!!
