So i think my pinion nut has backed off again on the rear axle of my truck. Only problem is i dont know what size the socket is and im too lazy to drop the driveshaft and steal some caliper from work to measure it. So 800XL what size is it?

I want to say a 1 1/4" socket fits it, I'll go out and check in a bit though. I've got a six sided impact socket I keep around especially for that sucker, so I'll just see what size it is.

1 1/4" is the size of the one I use. That translates to 31.75mm so I'm not sure if it is actually a 31 or a 32. I can't remember if the socket I've got fits loose or snug, and it is an old well used impact impact socket so it could be worn some.
