I have found that high proformance carbs like weber, dellorto, and so on require 2 to 2.5 psi of fuel or they will flood. Try a fuel regulator and see what that does.

Had a little spark knock lately?
This will brake top rings evertime. I have managed to break all of mine a time or two.
