does anyone have, or know where i can get front axles and 4x4 hubs for my 79 luv? used is fine, but i need them in good condition.

You can order the cv half shaft assy from http://www.rockauto.com
the hubs you will most likely find someone with a set or in a junkyard.

I bought Hubs for my 80 Luv 4x4, back in 1998. They were a Super Wench brand. Not sure if they are still avalible.

GI Joes had complete CV half-shafts

The hubs were still okay. You do know you have to remove the entire axle to get the inner shafts out, don't you... So stick with replacing the outer half-shafts...
