Anyone know if the 4x4 tranny shifter is interchangable with the 2wd. If so, I am on a hunt for one...

In theory yes. I have a shifter out of a 79 4x4 sitting loose and a couple of 2wd trannys of various vintages sitting in the open. I'll try to check on that for you.

thanks.. i like the look of the 4x4 shifter a lot better.. and i just found a shift boot to fit one... 8O
