Being a new LUV owner (rather my son is, but I get to help him locate parts & repair it) I searched this site for a source for a replacement gas tank for his "new" 1978 LUV. Our local junkyard just crushed their last LUV so that route is gone. I notice quite a few posts from others that are also in need of tanks, has anyone found a source? Does anyone know of another tank that will fit, or at least be able to be modified to fit? What have some others of you done to replace your tanks (this one is just missing so repair is not an option). Thanks in advance!

I'm in Readlyn, 50668 kinda by Waterloo. I took my tank off this spring, nothing wrong with it but I got a fuel cell. Right now it is just sitting in the cab of my parts truck, I dont really know what it's worth but just let me know if you are interested
