well the weather sure sucks here in phoenix (115 degrees) but the dog and I finally got my 79' longbed running again. Had a galley plug in the rear of the engine blow out and pump all my oil on the freeway the day after thanksgiving. I pulled the trans, oil pan and flywheel off and found the bearings damaged a little but i decided to go ahead and run them as is. I figured if it blows up then its because the 4 cylinder wanted replaced with my 400 hp 350 out of my old 68' Nova. Anyway got the engine all buttoned back up and running, installed the transmission, and accessories. all I've got to do now is get insurance again and emission test it!
