Hi,

I just bought an 81 LUV and really think the interior is pretty drab. its very boxy and plain. I was wondering if the dash out of the 70s model luv trucks fits in mine. If so, out with the new and in with the old!!!!!

Also, I was wondering if anyone had any suggestions on what to do to make my luv perform a little better. it's got the 1.8ltr. and about 136k miles on it. it runs great, but i was just wanting a little more umph out of it. btw, it has a 4 speed in it.

go with a weber carb and a good header. i'd maybe even switch the points over to electronic. the first cheapest thing you can do is the k&n filter. :D

It is going to be hard if not impossible to find a 70's model dash that is in good condition

Do you know where I could get the hooker header at as well?
