Fellas,
I'm thinking about going with a Pacesetter header...good choice? and what kind of muffler do you think would compliment the best.... Flowmaster Delta 40???

well if you want more of a growl then yeah go with the flowmaster, but can i suggest one thing, don't go with the 40 series... go with the 30, it's got a constant growl the 40 doesn't, it might sound good at idle but when you accelerate it fades out untill a certain RPM, then you can barely hear it.

If you want a poppin' sound kinda like a 1500 chevy, go with a glass pack...

i think that with the header youd be good with 2 1/4 pipe from the header to the muffler and outta the muffler. when you dont have enought backpressure for 4 cylinders they really have no power.

i have the pace setter on my truck. I carried 2" pipe out and have a dual chamber turbo muffler on it. Performs great but the tone is a little "ricey".

I have 2 1/4 from the header to my flowmaster on my Yota now and I can feel the difference, theres is a noticable lack in low end grunt now, think I am gonna go with 2 inch. But then again all I have is a 32/36 , header an flowmaster

its a 1977, has the stock 3 speed auto, but not for long and was orange, but only cause the shitty ass paint was so faded you could draw in it  I paid $800 for it from some old man in Garden City back in 2000 or so
