I cant seem to keep the windshield washer nozzles cleared of any length of time. The tank, pump and lines are clean so the problem has to be in the nozzles themselves. Bits of rust and sediment can be found when i try to clean them. I've used wire from a bread wrapper to clean the nozzles and flushed them with all different kinds of chemical. But it is only a temporary fix. Is there some way of getting these nozzles clean?

Run some cleaner through the whole system(simple green), or use one of those pipe cleaners to try and get any crud outta them from where the hose connects.

do you have a set of torch tip cleaners? i've not looked to see how small the holes are, but that might work.

Getting the lines cleared is easy enough but the rust and scale buildup breaks loose and quickly plugs the nozzles. I've thought of dipping them in Berryman's parts dip but i cant bring myself to buy a can just for this. And it might not take care of the problem. My last option is to make or adapt replacement ones. It seems like alot of grief when i got a set that can work just fine if they would stay clear.

I don't know, but if you need a new set I think I might have a couple extras, if not next time I'm at the yard I will snag a set or two...

My solution has always been to just keep cleaning them with a welding tip cleaner. Running air through them both ways seems to help loosen the scale. Eventually I stopped having trouble with them. Might help to pull the motor apart and clear any junk out of it too. Always fill with clean water/solution.

A cheap solution might be to dip them in CLR. I've used it before on all sorts of stuff with fair success. Mix it somewhere between 1/4 and 1/2 with boiling water. Let the parts sit in it for a while, 1/2 hour to over night perhaps. Some stuff doesn't take well to CLR (spark plug insulator for one) so overnight might be a bit much. I'd start with a half hour then check em, make sure the metal or the zinc coating isn't getting eaten. It should loosen up whatever is inside, then you can use your wire to knock it out, rinse in the clr solution, repeat. Blow the rest out with the air hose or canned air, rinse well.

I blew through mine with 100p.s.i.

One vehicle I had, they were stopped up due to wax buildup. That trick worked wonderfully.
