I would like to purchase these items. Would they be a good thing or has anyone else bought them?

Alternator

And what kind of Water Pump do I need? SB or BB, long or short? My engine is the stock 1.8L. Thanks.

I dont know about the alternator or the air cleaner I've never tried them but the water pump you speak about is for a small block or a big block V-8 which you do not have, here is a link for a water pump but I am not sure what year you have but here is the link.
