im gettig a 76 luv for 300 and it runs i was just wonering if anyone knows anything cool about them? my brother who is on here hondakidus has his 77'. :?

76 had the first "large" bumper... first year the intake and exhaust weren't on the same side of the motor... And the coolest.....you're getting one.

Welcome to the site and congratz on becoming a new LUV owner. As for knowing anything cool about them, I think one of the best things about a LUV is how much you can do with them. Depending on your taste you can lift, lower, shave, engine swap, paint, tweak, and mold a LUV into just about whatever you want out of it. Take a look at the gallery section of the main http://www.luvtruck.com site here to get some ideas and then feel free to ask questions. Once you get an idea of more specific things you want your truck to do, I can guarantee that someone here has either already done it, or at least will have some thoughts that will help you out.

76 trucks also had 4 tie down loops on the bed sides, 3 on the tailgate. 77s went to 3/2 loops. Also the last year for red rear turn signal lenses.
