 Post subject: dieing?

everytime when i try to push on the brake and gas (to burn out wet road) my truck starts running weird has no power then dies a couple mins later then it won't start at all i can get it to start for a couple of seconds then dies if i wait like 5mins it will start right up and drive fine. anyone have any ideas? i don't burn out anymore. :lol:

It sounds like you're losing too much manifold vacuum when you do that. The brake booster requires intake vacuum and with opening the throttle wide open, all of the vacuum is lost and of course the motor runs like crap because the carb isn't running working correctly. You might be wise to go thru the entire motor looking for air leaks. The brake booster might be a leak source.
