My 80 luv is hard to start. After 5 min or so it idles fine and runs good after it is warm. As the weather gets colder i am concerned it will not turn over. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

Is the index mark on black round cover of the choke spring set to the notch on the metal back and is the choke nearly closed if yes to the previous?
