Well my truck is still stumbling. I get to about 1/4throtle and it just sucks air and looses all power. I checked for vacume leaks played whith the carb checked spark and timing. Could it be the fuel filter? Im going to go get one now, but plaese just throw some ideas out that i can check for.

All I can think is that maybe some jets are clogged.

That's exactly how my alternator problem started... then it went straight to the engine dying randomly, then it lasting about 30 secs per shot. It was fun driving that thing 25miles to the closest mechanic :?

Is this happening during a slow acceleration or fast acceleration or both?

MPER:
Check that the accelerator pump is spraying gas into the carb throat.
