I was just given a 1978 LUV. I am completely new to this truck and would like to know where I can go to find out all about it. Engine specs and such. I also need to figure out how to remove the damn seats. Is there a chilton manual for it?

There are usually shop manuals and Haynes manuals on ebay that can be picked up pretty cheap. If you want a shop manual your truck is a series 8.

you said seats...so I assume you have buckets? there should be 4 bolts at the corners of the slide rails. You might have to move the seat back all the way or forward all the way to get to them.
Hopefully someone didn't weld them in place!

Welcome to the site...
