I havent been able to find a new replacment for the lower hose on the radiator for my 80 Luv 4x4. Can you still buy them?
If Not, where would you go to have one fabricated.

I pulled one from a wrecking yard for a $1, it has no holes but I though a shop could use it as a template.

Just go get a FLEX hose same diameter and length as what you need.
(Fabricate one.....seriously now  ) It's NOT necessary 8)

The lower hose is just an elbow so it should not be a tough one to find. Get the right diameter and cut the ends down to fit. Flex-n-fit hose will work as well. Personally I just like the smooth hose better, but I can't come up with a good reason why a flex hose wont work just as good.

http://www.rockauto.com shows the Gates molded hose as being available and Gates part number 20791. They also have an AC Delco hose part number 22072M for a bit more listed as available but with a shipping delay as its a non-stock item. Any local shop worth a spit can look up either number and cross it with something they have/can get.

I got one from Schucks a couple years ago. Aren't they affiliated with Pepboys?

I did find a pre-formed hose from NAPA. its less than 10 bucks.
Way better than the Damn flex hoses. The flex house is POS, they dont last as long as the pre-formed.

I know I dont have a stock truck but I used those stainless flex hoses and they were great for the tight bends and close spaces

So I got both new pre-fromed radiator hoses for my Luv.
Also on Napaoline, you can get a replacement for the "Gooseneck"
or the techanical name is the "Water outlet". It's the pice on top of the inatake manifold that has the thermostat just underneath.I think the Water Inlet was only 15 bucks.
