Hello,

I blew the head gasket on my LUV today. We are replacing it on Monday and I need the specs and the torque sequence. I can't seem to find my Haynes manual and the local stores don't have any either. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks again:

Rob

I found the torque specs in another thread:

Header torque: 61 - 72 ft/lbs
Connecting Rod Bearing Cap and Bolt: 33 - 43 ft/lbs
Intake Valves: 0.06
Exhaust Valves: .0.010

Still need the sequence though....

Torque them in sequece to 61, then again to 72.
Sequence looks like...

7 3 2 6 10
8 4 1 5 9

These are the bolts behind the chain...
7&8 are closest to chain 9&10 farthest.
