Anybody know if there are any of these out there? Any substitutes?
Wet floors on rainy days. Thanks for the help.

Welcome to the board. I have looked at some rubber washers in the toilet repair section of Home Depot and saw something that might work. Hope this helps.

Buy some rubber spark plug Ends. Just trim them down a little and they should fit. 8)

Spark plug ends are the way to go. I've done this on three LUVs now and have yet to replace any of them over again. One is going on 10 years that way or better.

I wrote this up quite a while back and you can find the details here:

After a year or so about all I'd edit on that is you can go either way on the screws. Stainless didn't rust, but the metal around them still does so it really wasn't much of a help. The stainless screws still look purty tho. :)

I used stainless steel on the cowl too.

Oh yea somtime I'll have to post how I had a buddy make up new wiper guides. The plastic mold that holds the wiper shaft breaks just when you take em off. My buddy made metal ones out of valve stem guides and took the rubber gasket and cut out a metal same shape and welded it to the stem guide. And as I admired the handywork I thought to myself
"now that is how they shoudl make them" :P
