Here is what is not working:

Truck will run at mid to high rpm, but won't idle.
Gauges Cluster (fuel, temp, seatbelt, parking brake, turn signals)
Generator Light on all the time
Truck has long hard starts and runs for longer when you cut it off

Everything else is working like it should.

Here is what I have done so far:

Had NAPA autoparts check the charging system and battery. All is good.
Took the fusebox out and cleaned, and put in new fuses.
Took all grounds off that I could find and cleaned them.

Anybody had these symptoms before? Got any suggestions?

My guess is your timing is off, and you might have a Vac. leak. As far as the elect. part not quite sure. My Gen. light comes on when you turn on the lights. So I can't be much help there  I am sure somebody here will send you in the right direction :D GOOD LUCK!

Sounds like a short somewhere is powering all those lights. Has any wiring under the dash been done? Like someone has installed after market electrical equipment. Or maybe under the hood, also. If you find some, disconnect it temporarily to see if the lights go out.

So, I am still having the same problems. I have taken off all of the grounds that I can see or get to, and cleaned them as best I could. Taken the fusebox out and cleaned it thouroughly. Nothing seems to effect it.

Do you guys think it could be my voltage regulator? I had NAPA autoparts run a check on my charging system and they said it was fine, but I read on here a couple threads where people had the same symptoms. Gauges out and gen light on. Their solutions were to clean the fusebox, and replace the voltage regulator.

Solution - (at least it seems to be). Voltage Regulator. When I got off of work today, I figured I would just take it off and see if they could test it up at autozone. The dude couldn't test it, so I made him agree that if I took home a new one and it didn't fix the problem, then I could bring it back for full refund.

Put it on and voila. Gauges work, Gen light is off, and the truck will idle. After a week, I was so ready for the luv to be running again.

Thanks for the help guys.
