ok. time for a little body work on casper. after replacing/fixing rusted areas, which does everyone prefer? bondo, good ole pink over the counter, no prescription required. or fiberglass resin and cloth, still no prescription but requires a couple more brain cells to do it right? :drinking:

Well, they are really used for two different things. Bondo should be used for small stuff or to smooth out bumpy areas. If you have to lay it any thicker than 1/4" than you either need to do more body work to get the dent out more, or you need to use the fiberglass resin and cloth. For panels rusted through its best to do the resin and cloth first to patch, then sand it down to roughly where it needs to be, and then use bondo to smooth it out.

ive have good luck w/ the "bondo-hair" stuff. its fiber glass w/o the cloth, the fibers are in the resin,

sand it down good and use some glazing putty to fill in small pin holes
