I’m trying to figure out this ignition thing, from what I can see the Pertronix electronic ignition conversion kit uses your existing distributor and is available for 1974 or 75 Luvs. Now the Mallory distributor conversion kit comes with a new distributor and electronic ignition, but is it for later year models I’m not sure. I want to convert to electronic ignition for my 75 Luv.

I run the pertronix in my sand rail and have a few friends with them also. they are very durable none of us have ever had any problems with it. they have a pretty good price too. mine was only 50 bones.
