Firt off I bought a rebuilt master cylinder. It did NOT come with resivors.
So i had to remove them at the auto supply!. Anyways I am wondering if there are any tips to installing it. I have a paper on bleeding it, but was wondering about the booster, it was grimey looking on this shaft that goes into the M.C. Besides cleaning it, do I need to put grease in there?

just an off the topic question, does any1 know what size a brake master cylinder is off an 80 luv with front disks?

NO resevours? How much did you pay for that POS? I just ordered a new one for my truck for $22 and it came complete, looked PURTY!

I paid 40 bucks at Napa Auto. My luv is an 80 4x4 and I do live in Califonrnia, things here are more expensive. Mine looked "purty" too,
though I'm going to paint it and the braket black. =-P

while you have the master cyl. off i'd check the boosterfor leaks...

a little brake fluid on the contact point of the push rod(master side)should be all the lube you need...if you have any troubles feel free to e-mail me.

i only live on the other side of p-ville so i could lend a hand any time you need it.

Shipping would cost just that much to get it to ya!
I work at a parts store and order my parts at cost. Also the core was $10.
